New York City Section 8 Voucher Waiting List Opens June 3, 2024The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from June 3, 2024 at 12:00 am, until June 9, 2024 at 11:59 pm ET. This is the first time the waiting list has been open since it closed in December, 2009. After New York City Mayor Eric Adams made an an announcement in January that this waiting list will open, NYCHA has now given dates for the opening period.Open
