Delaware County Housing Authority Public Housing Waiting List

The Delaware County Housing Authority (DCHA) is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The DCHA offers one community with 162 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.There are two ways to apply for public housing:1. Visit the DCHA office to pick up an application, located at 2401 S. Haddix Ave., Muncie, IN, Monday-Thursday between the hours of 7:00 am and 4:30 pm.2. Request an application be mailed to you by calling 765-284-3801, Monday-Thursday between the hours of 7:00 am and 4:30 pm.Once the application has been completed it must be hand delivered to the address listed above. Be sure to have these original documents with your application: birth certificates, social security cards, proof of all income, proof of food stamps, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The DCHA does have a preference for senior and disabled individuals.For more information the housing authority can be reached by calling 765-284-3801, Monday-Thursday between the hours of 7:00 am and 4:30 pm.
