The Montgomery County Housing Authority (MCHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is closed, It was last open from November 15, 2024 at 12:01 a.m., until November 21, 2024 at 11:59 p.m ET. Before that, it was last open for seven days in June 2019 and before that in May, 2015.

To apply during the opening period, applicants completed the online application that will be available on the MCHA website.

Preferences have not been confirmed.

1,000 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery.
