Rutland, Vermont Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The Rutland Housing Authority (RHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It closed on December 31, 2024. It had been open prior to that since at least July 2017.

To apply during the open period, applicants had to download and print the application online here.

Once the application was completed, it must have been mailed or hand delivered to Rutland Housing Authority, 5 Tremont Street, Rutland, VT 05701.

Copies of the following additional documents were required for all members of the household: Birth certificate, Social Security card.

This waiting list has the following preferences: Lived in the state of Vermont for at least one year; work or have been notified of hiring in the state of Vermont; head of household or spouse is currently employed, 62 years old or older, or disabled; victim of domestic violence; displaced due to natural disaster; med-waiver applicant.
