2 and 3-Bedroom Family Public Housing Waiting List

The Decatur Housing Authority (DHA) waiting list for 2 and 3-Bedroom, Family Public Housing apartments is currently open. Pre-applications are being accepted since at least April, 2020, until further notice.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed. The DHA pre-application states "Decatur Housing Authority utilizes a local preference." But the specific preference, or preferences have not been confirmed. HUD's official term for any preference is called a "local preference." It's possible that this preference is for persons who reside and/or work in Macon County, since that is a question on the application.
