Lake Wales Care Center provides temporary financial assistance for rent and mortgage or utilities available for individuals and families during time of crisis. No deposits. Assistance dependent on funding available. Also offering holiday services, pregnancy care, meals on wheels, thrift store, bookstore, transitional housing, work camps, youth coffee house, and a community kitchen. Eligibility: Economic Problems, Teen Head of Household or Adult 18, Both Male and Female Fees: Not Applicable Intake Procedure: Appointment preferredLanguages Spoken: English, Spanish Must bring: Income from employment, disability, SSI, Social Security, child support, pensions, retirement account, TANF, and any other income source: Mortgage, rent, and utility payments Food stamps Other income and expenses which impact the familys budget (such as receipts for unexpected expenses) Please call number provided for any additional information.
