Salvation Army Tarpon Springs Social Services  provides LIMITED financial assistance for rent and utilities. Maximum utility assistance is the last $100 for payment of a utility bill - balance must not be higher than $100 to receive assistance. *CanNOT assist in cases where utilities have been shut off already. Does not help with utility deposits. Provides a 3-day supply of emergency food. Clients are seen by appointment only. Assistance is offered one time a year per family/individual. Rent assistance is for single parents or intact families WITH children and the maximum assistance offered is $300 (max amount is NOT guaranteed until client is seen and approved for that amount). Rent balance MUST be $300 or under for an appointment to be scheduled.(DOES NOT HELP WITH RENT DEPOSITS)Call for more information or questions.
