Description OVERVIEW: Provides emergency assistance with food, clothes, utilities and medications. Also operates a thrift shop that is open to the public. SERVICES:1) FOOD: Provides emergency food once every 30 days on a case by case basis. Call for information. 2) THRIFT SHOP: Provides low cost clothing and household items. Open to the general public on Mon, Wed, and Sat, 9AM-3PM. 3) HOLIDAY ASSISTANCE 2013: Thanksgiving Day meals will be served on Thanksgiving day, 28th from 11:30AM-2:30PM. Take out meals are for ANY residents however, delivered meals are for residents living within the West Ocean City area. Must be drug-free in order to receive meal. 4) Financial Assistance: Provides assistance with utility cut-off and prescription assistance when funds are available. Must provide proof of need and payment is made directly to the service provider. DONATIONS: Accepts monetary donations of food (non perishable) and baby items. May call for complete wishlist items. Eligibility: Residents of 21842.Fee: None.Application Process: Call for appointment. All clients are interviewed and application must be completed. Required Documents: Financial assistance must provide proof of need, photo id and household income.
