Chattanooga Human Services Emergency Assistance

The Office of Family Empowerment is also home to the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), which provides assistance for income-eligible families with home energy bills. This program runs from July 1 to June 30 each year. Assistance may be received only once per program year. LIHEAP awards are applied directly to the applicant's account with the energy provider.
