Lee County, Florida Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Lee County, Florida.

The Housing Authority of the City of Fort Myers (HACFM) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from February 2, 2024, until February 4, 2024.  This waiting list was last open in May, 2021. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply while the waiting list was open, applicants were required to complete the online application.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as follows:

• 1 Person $29,800 | 5 Persons $46,000
• 2 Persons $34,050 | 6 Persons $49,400
• 3 Persons $38,300 | 7 Persons $52,800
• 4 Persons $42,550 | 8 Persons $56,200

There were preferences, and they were listed on the application.

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received.
