This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Haywood and Jackson County, North Carolina.

The Mountains Projects Inc's Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program waiting list is closed.

The Mountains Project Inc last accepted applications for this waiting list from September 6, 2022, until further notice. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

There were two ways to apply during the opening period:

1. Complete the online application.
2. Call the Mountains Projects Inc office.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Homeless Persons
• Victims of Domestic Violence
• Elderly, Disabled, or Handicapped Persons
• Veterans

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, weighed by order of preferences.
