This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Iowa, Johnson, and Washington County, Iowa.

The Iowa City Housing Authority (ICHA) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from the earliest confirmed open date of October, 2018, until July 1, 2024 at 5:00 pm.

Preferences

This waiting list has the following preferences: Elderly, Disabled, Live, Work, or Attend School Locally, Families with Children, Displaced by Government Action, Displaced by Natural Disaster.

Selection Process

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, by order of preferences.
