This waiting list is for Section 8 Project-Based Voucher rental housing assistance in Bloomington, Minnesota .

The Bloomington Housing and Redevelopment Authority (BHRA) last accepted Section 8 Project Based Voucher waiting list applications from July 15, 2024, until further notice. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

Preferences

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Terminated from the HCV program due to insufficient program funding.
• Victims of Domestic Violence.
• Applicants displaced by Involuntarily Displacement.
• Live, work, or be hired to work in Bloomington.
• Elderly/Disabled
• Currently participating in a HUD HCV Special Program including Foster Youth Independence (FYI) and VASH through the Bloomington HRA

Selection Process

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, by order of preferences.

Application Method

There were two ways to apply while the waitlist was open:

1. Complete the online application.
2. Complete the application in person at the BHRA office.
