The Rocky Mount Housing Authority (RMHA) Section 8 Mainstream Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open. Applications are being accepted since at least September 2020, until 39 applications have been received. 

Please note: To qualify for mainstream voucher program you must be non-elderly (at least age 18 and not yet 62 years of age) who are transitioning out of institutional or other segregated settings or at serious risk of institutionalization who often have difficulties in locating suitable and accessible housing on private market to lease affordable housing of their choice.
