This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Claremont, New Hampshire.

The Claremont Housing Authority (CHA) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from the earliest confirmed open date of September, 2019, until further notice. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

There were two ways to apply while the waitlist was open:

1. Complete the online application.
2. Print the paper application.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Live or work in Claremont NH or have been notified that they are hired to work in Claremont.
• Involuntarily Displaced - forced to move from their home as a result of a natural disaster such as a fire or flood or by code enforcement or actions by a private owner or victims of violence.
• Pay more than 50% gross monthly income for rent and utilities for at least 90 days.

It was not known how applicants were placed on the waiting list.
