Lake Metropolitan Housing Authority Mainstream Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

This waiting list is for Mainstream Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Lake County, Ohio.

The Lake Metropolitan Housing Authority (LMHA) waiting list for the Section 8 mainstream Housing Choice Voucher apartments is currently closed. Applications were last accepted from July 27, 2020 until August 10, 2020. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

Please note: This opening was only for individuals and families who have a family member who: Is non-elderly (between ages 18 and 61), and has a verifiable disability.

There were two ways to apply during the opening period:

1. Print the online paper application.
2. Pick up an application from outside the LMHA administrative office.

Once the application was completed, it was postmarked by August 10, 2020 and mailed to the LMHA.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

25 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.
