This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Chester, Pennsylvania.

The Chester Housing Authority (CHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is closed.

The CHA  last accepted applications for this waiting list from January 17, 2023, until January 31, 2023. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen. 

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application.

The maximum income limits for each household size were as followed:

• 1 Person $36,900 | 5 Persons $56,950
• 2 Persons $42,200 | 6 Persons $61,150
• 3 Persons $47,450 | 7 Persons $65,350
• 4 Persons $52,700 | 8 Persons $69,600

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Received Homebuyer/ Homeownership Education Certificate
• Veteran of US Armed Forces
• Employment/Elderly/Disabled
• City of Chester Resident

It was not known how selected applicants were placed on the waiting list.
