This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Darlington, South Carolina.

The Housing Authority of Darlington (HACD) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from August 21, 2023, until August 22, 2023. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply while the waitlist was open, applicants were required to complete the online application.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Victims of domestic violence
• Families that include a person with disabilities, but not persons with a specific disability.
• Single persons who are elderly, displaced, homeless, or persons with disabilities over other single persons.
• Applicant families whose head of household or spouse is employed or has a bona fide offer for employment.
• Families whose head of household or spouse is sixty-two (62) years of age or disabled.

It was not known how applicants were placed on the waiting list, by order of preferences.
