Aberdeen Housing Authority Public Housing Waiting List

The Aberdeen Housing Authority (AHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The AHA offers one Public Housing community with 100 units for families and senior/disabled individuals, ranging in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms.There are two ways to apply:

1. Download the online pre-application here, then print and complete.
2. Visit the AHA to pick up a pre-application, located at 310 S. Roosevelt Street, Aberdeen, SD 57401, from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm CDT, Monday-Thursday, and on Fridays from 10:00 am until 2:30 pm.

Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.  The AHA does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: local residency, elderly/disabled, families with children, victims of domestic violence and victims of a natural disaster.For more information, visit the AHA website, or call the AHA office at (605) 225-9095 from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm, Monday-Thursday, and on Fridays from 10:00 am until 2:30 pm.
