Compton, California Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The City of Compton Housing Authority (CCHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open for four days in September 2017. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to complete the online application. The application was available in multiple languages.

This waiting list had the following preferences: Live, work or hired to work in Compton; homeless; veteran; disabled; elderly; and victims of domestic violence.

Applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, by order of preferences. Waiting list status is available after November 13, 2017 online here, or by calling 1 (844) 254-6338.
